FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The Answers You Deserve
WHAT ARE THE REGISTRATION AND MATERIAL FEES FOR? CAN THEY BE REFUNDED?
The registration and material fees cover all resource costs e.g. printing, notes, assignments, stationery etc. They also cover the administrative costs for our free-flow snacks and drinks pantry. They are strictly non-refundable and non-transferrable.
WHAT IS THE DEPOSIT FOR? IS IT REFUNDABLE?
We charge a 1-month (4 lessons) deposit that will be used to offset the last 4 lessons on withdrawal, or rolled over to the next year of study upon completion of the school year.
The deposit is strictly non-refundable and non-transferrable. A notice of withdrawal of at least 1 month is required such that we can offset the last 4 lessons using the deposit in the event of withdrawal.
WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS OF YOUR TUTORS?
Our tutors range from undergraduates from reputable local universities to Master's Degree holders.
However, the key focus of our centre is on Programmes specially curated by current/former school teachers that are then distributed and taught by the tutors.
HOW DO WE ENSURE THE QUALITY OF TEACHING?
To ensure the quality of teaching, all classes are taught exclusively by our Principal tutors. We do not hire external tutors to teach at ThinkTank because we are afraid that it will dilute the students' learning experiences.
HOW DO WE ENSURE THAT STUDENTS ARE LEARNING AND COPING?
Assignments are provided as part of the curriculum to reinforce the concepts that students have learnt and for tutors to provide relevant feedback. All assignments will be graded and filed for students and parents to refer as necessary.
In addition, quarterly tests will be held to evaluate students' progress and remedial action can be taken.
WHAT DIFFERENTIATES YOUR CENTRE FROM OTHER TUITION CENTRES?
1. Excellence through Structured Learning - our in-house Programmes are carefully designed by former school teachers to cater to the specific needs of students and provide rigorous practice.
2. Small class sizes (capped at 5 students) - students will receive individualised attention.
3. Comprehensive feedback loop between centre and parents.
